Kona's Coffee Sakai

The pancakes are big fluffy and tasty. I liked how easy the menu was to read for building your own meal. We visited during a storm and the staff were very good keeping us up to date with information. Accessible toilet was very clean and easy to do transfers.

If you are craving for some western food this is a good place to dine. Huge servings and the taste is spot on. I also like their kona's coffee. A bit pricey though but I think with the serving and quality, it's worth it. This place gets really busy on weekends (lunch time), so we often go around 10-11 for brunch.

Amazing ambience and quiet unique menu. Wasn’t really impressed by the coffee, but the pancakes and especially salty ones are definitely worth the experience.

This place has really good food and very good coffee. I would not order the guacamole and chips it’s Doritos which aren’t real corn chips and the guacamole was some kind of cheap processed guacamole! Other than that the food is really good but it’s very expensive! I have eaten here twice now because the food is pretty good.

My first experience with Kona's coffee was in Ibaraki Prefecture. The taste of the food is as great as the one in Ibaraki. And the staff are fast and approachable especially the one giving out the waiting ticket. We went lunch time so there was a big crowd and we had to wait roughly around 45 minutes. Maybe going here around 10:30-11:00 am will secure you a seat.

I'll come back!! Everyone working there was smiling and welcoming. I really appreciated their great service! Even the background music was amazing. I could quitely sing to some songs because they played famous modern music (most of them were covers and I think it's great they support small artists) Food of course was awesome too! The meal - Ceasar salad with smoked salmon, two pancakes and pieces of grapefruit - was fulfilling. It felt exotic which made it almost special to eat. I loved the Macadamia coffee (hot). It was creamy and nutty. Just a perfect match! My boyfriend had the Benedict egg toasts and a frozen coffee smoothie. He was also very satisfied :) The decoration is cozy and definitely catches the island theme Hawaii. Beautiful setup! We went on a Friday around 11am and got a table directly but as we left there was already a little crowd waiting to be seated.
